Resurrection is the concept of coming back to life after death. Some religions say that at the end of the world, all people will be resurrected.

Resurrection is central to Christianity. Jesus was resurrected. Resurrections are also among the miracles Jesus is said to have done.

According to Islamic tradition, on the Day of Resurrection (Qiyāmah) all people will be resurrected. Allah will judge them according to their good and bad deeds and they will be rewarded or punished.

Resurrection was also central to traditional Jewish theology. It is said that in the Messianic Age, the Temple will be rebuilt, the Jewish people will be gathered in Jerusalem, and the dead will be brought back to life and reunited with their souls. However, this idea has been debated by different scholars and streams of Judaism. Today, some take it literally and some take this symbolically.
