The Tanakh is a collection of Hebrew scriptures. It is also known as the Hebrew Bible.

The word Bible comes from the Greek biblia, which means books. The Bible is a collection of many books.

It includes the Torah, Nevi’im (Prophets), and Ketuvim (Writings). The word Tanakh comes from the first letter of each section (T, N, and K).

These texts are mostly written in Hebrew, with some passages in Aramaic.
