Abū Bakr was the father-in-law of Prophet Muhammad. He was a trusted companion and adviser to Muhammad. He was one of the first people to accept Islam.
Following Muhammad’s death, Abū Bakr took over his political role, becoming the first Muslim Caliph. He ruled the Rashidun Caliphate, covering the Arabian Peninsula.
