All the workshops were well attended and gave teachers the opportunity to explore the resource with us and help us plan for future. We are grateful to all the participants who took time to meet us and give such useful feedback!
We were also encouraged by the number of teachers who showed interest in getting further involved in the project including many who have offered to use the resource this term and share their experiences with us, alongside those who have signed up to become part of an ongoing Interfaith Explorers teachers network which will offer further opportunities for professional development in the delivery of RE and PSHE, as well as being an important mechanism for practitioner feedback in the ongoing future development of the UNESCO supported educational resource!
Over the coming months, we will publish their experiences on the site, alongside posting further opportunities for many more teachers and schools to get involved in the Interfaith Explorers project.
In addition, planning is underway for a further teachers workshop series for the Autumn term which will build on the experience gained this term – details of how you can get involved and attend future events will be available on the site.
In the meantime, if you are keen to get involved now you can participant in a series of debates through our soon to be launched Interfaith Explorers teachers webinar series – the first one of which will take place on Thursday 12th June 2014.
LAUNCHING NEXT WEEK: Sign up and register by visiting the webinar section of the website!
